TV5Unis, or TV5, is a French-language television channel in Canada. The channel was launched back in September 1, 1988, and its offices are in Quebec. Its programming comes from a variety of agreements with other French-language channels from across the globe. This channel is owned by Le Consortium de televisión Quebec, Canada, and it can be watched both on HD and on SD in some regions.

TV5 offers viewers a variety of general entertainment shows, which include news broadcasts, documentaries, TV series, movies and even sports events. Since TV5 relies on its “sister” channels to schedule their shows, sports events will be revealed when one or more of the networks that work closely with this channel reveal the TV rights they will share.

In the past, TV5 has broadcast some memorable moments from the French top-flight, along with crucial moments from the Coupe de France and other French tournaments. All of those games have been aired on TV5 in their original language.
