About 3 Plus TV

3 Plus is a national, private television broadcaster from Switzerland that has been broadcasting since August 31, 2006. He replaced the channel TV3, which was broadcast from 1999 to 2001, by taking over its transmission frequencies. Until it was officially presented at a media conference on May 31, 2006, the project had the working title Elevator TV. Founder and managing director is Dominik Kaiser, program director is Torsten Prenter (formerly RTL II). It can currently be received by around 1.7 million Swiss households via cable connection. On December 15, 2012, 3+ started its program encrypted via the Astra 1KR satellite.
